 YFA Packages THE VISIONARY PACKAGE Youth Film Academy directing students will work with state-of-the-art equipment and will be exposed to all aspects of this visual medium. Our future directors will be challenged by our highly trained staff and visiting guest speakers. To celebrate our filmmakers’ talent and dedication, they will be rewarded with an exclusive red carpet premiere where their projects will screen for friends and family. THE SUPERSTAR PACKAGE Students enrolled in the superstar package will be taught how to apply various techniques to film and television. From day one they will get to experience the work that goes into filmmaking from understanding the casting process to final editing choices. At the end of the program, they will have a body of work that will be noticed by industry professionals in film festivals and television programming. YFA will showcase their best work in a glamorous red carpet premiere for their friends and family.  HOLLYWOOD CELEBRITY SERIES Youth Film Academy’s monthly one-day workshops bring Hollywood to YFA with famous celebrities, actors, producers and directors. Our guests are highly respected professionals who are prepared to share their industry trade secrets. They have created, directed, produced or starred in some of the most popular TV shows: “Hannah Montana,” “Wizards of Waverly Place,” “Cory in the House” as well as blockbusters like “Mystic Pizza” and the “Matrix.” MARKETING: THE COMPLETION OF THE JOURNEY Hollywood is all about packaging. Marketing your work is essential, whether you choose to attend a prestigious university or create a buzz in Hollywood. Your work needs to be in the right hands. YFA offers the opportunity to showcase final projects at upcoming film festivals and cable TV as well as providing top industry connections. Attendees will learn about personal management, agency representation and how to build your career in the entertainment industry.  |
